Conditions for TIC Advisor Research Grants

Before applying, please carefully review the following terms and conditions to ensure a clear understanding of the expectations and commitments associated with these grants.

01. Employment Eligibility:  Any employees of TIC Advisor who have a valid ID card and appointment letter are eligible to apply for grants. The employee who once received grants is not entitled to apply for a second time.

02. Citizenship Requirement: Applicants must be citizens of Bangladesh. Individuals from other countries are not eligible to apply for the grant.

03. Verification of Identity: Applicants must provide a valid national identity document, such as NID, Passport, or Driving License, as proof of citizenship.

04. Age Eligibility: Applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 50 to be considered for this opportunity. Age outside this range will not be eligible for application.

05. Monthly Salary During Project: Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim a monthly salary during the project period. Upon successful completion of the project, the grantee will be eligible to draw a monthly salary if they choose to join TIC Advisor.

06. Post-Project Employment: Grant recipients are not obligated to join TIC Advisor after completing their project. TIC Advisor welcomes grant winners to resume work with the organization but does not insist on post-project employment.

07. Reporting Requirements: Granted employees must provide project updates to the grant committee every six months. For projects with a duration of six months, reports should be submitted every three months.

08. Inclusivity and Diversity: TIC Advisor encourages applications from women, tribes, underprivileged and minor community individuals, and physically challenged employees, along with men.

09. Banking Requirements: Applicants must have an online banking account for fund disbursement. Funds will be disbursed yearly in Bangladeshi currency (BDT) before the project commences. For six-month projects, the full fund will be deposited before project initiation.

10. Bank Statement Submission: Grant recipients must share the bank statement for the granted amount with the grant committee for acknowledgment within two working days of fund receipt. Failure to do so may result in negative remarks.

11. Single Award Opportunity: Each employee has a single chance to be awarded a grant. Once entitled to a grant, reapplication is not necessary.

12. Multiple Application Opportunities: Employees can apply for grants multiple times throughout the year. The application process is open year-round.

13. Grant Cancellation Rights: TIC Advisor reserves the right to cancel the grant if any awarded employee violates company norms and discipline as per the company policy.

14. Privacy Commitment: TIC Advisor is committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of grant applicants’ information. All applicant data, including personal and project information, will be treated confidentially, with strict measures in place to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or use.

15. Grant Selection Autonomy: The decision to select an applicant for the grant is an unbiased procedure and is fully dependent on the grant committee. The management of the TIC Advisor ensures that it will never interfere in the selection procedure.

16. Evaluation Period: The evaluation process is anticipated to take a minimum of four weeks from the application deadline. This timeframe allows the committee ample opportunity to carefully review and analyze the details, ensuring a fair and thorough consideration of all applications in accordance with the predetermined criteria.

17. Selection Criteria: The grant committee will thoroughly assess applications, considering academic and professional merit, financial need, and alignment with grant objectives. This comprehensive evaluation aims to understand each applicant’s unique qualities, challenges, and the potential impact of their projects on the grant’s mission and goals.

18. Application Submission: Eligibility for grant consideration mandates applicants to thoroughly compile and submit complete application packages. Incomplete submissions risk application cancellation, emphasizing the need for attention to detail to ensure all required materials are provided.

19. Changes to Terms: The grant committee reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, with any changes communicated to applicants and grant recipients.

How to Apply

1. Download & fill out the Application Form for Grant (Form No. TA-CT-DN-MIS-0001) carefully as per instructions

2. Make a complete updated CV of the applicant

3. Collect and scan all necessary documents NID, TIN, Valid Passport or Driving license (if applicable), academic certificate

4. Compiled all documents, printed out, affixed them with passport size photograph and submit the hard copy to the office

5. In case of distance employees, please compile all documents as PDFs and email your proposal package to (info@ticadvisor.com)

6. During application, please mention the application for the grant and your employee ID on the envelope (for hard copy) and in the subject line (for email)

7. The applicant will be notified by an acknowledgement email from TIC Advisor team
